Werner Coppel Obituary

Werner Coppel, 91, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 in Riverside, California. He was born on Thursday, April 11, 1929 in Mainz, Germany to Simon and Toni (Grav) Coppel. He worked as a general manager in the furniture manufacturing business for 50 years. Mr. Coppel served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. During his service he earned the Army Occupation Medal of Germany and the National Defense Service Medal. He was honorably discharged as a SGT in 1954. Werner was a member of Temple Beth El in Riverside.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years Suzanne, and his sons Gary and Steven Coppel.

Private family services will be held. Mr. Coppel will be laid to rest in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California.
