Winifred Elizabeth Kennison, 76, passed away on August 8, 2021. She was born on September 20, 1944 in Samoa to Jack and Filiga (Sao) Laban. Winifred loved her family and she always encouraged family time, family togetherness, family love. She loved to go camping, host family dinners and holidays - always family bonded togetherness with love.
She loved serving people and serving the Lord and would always always help someone in need. Her most favorite thing was becoming a grandmother and as Nana all the moments that would bring her joy as she got to watch and love them grow up and bring her great grandchildren. She enjoyed Hawaiian dancing, music, and culture and taught dancing in the 70’-80’s. She loved playing Bingo with her friends Carmen, Lily, Leonora and Mele. She enjoyed slot machines everywhere- her favorites were in Las Vegas.
Winifred had an amazing green thumb- she loved flowers and enjoyed growing, watering and nurturing them. She enjoyed a game of cards, loved word search puzzles, was extremely crafty and loved to clean.
Winifred is survived by her daughter Leilani Kennison Greene, her sons Joseph Kennison, Herb Kennison and Ivan Kennison; grandchildren Bruce, Amber, KC, Breanna, Kanani, AJ and Zachary; great-grandchildren Bronson, Roman, Momi Alamea, Daxton, Dominic, Miles, and Carson; brother Henry Laban.
