Obituary

William Edward Hunton, 92, passed away on April 16, 2022 in Riverside, California. He was born to Gerald and Geraldine (Adams) Hunton on September 24, 1929 in Harlem, New York.

William served in the United States Air Force from 1950-1954 as a musician and after the military he made music and entertainment his lifelong career. He played drums for Chuck Perry and he wrote a drum exercise book entitled Funkacises. He was a beloved father and grandfather.

Ed is survived by his children Geraldine Arnold and Christian Anderson and grandchildren Brittany, Donovan and Quinten and his ex-wife Lisette.

Memorial service will be on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 11 am in Grimes-Akes Family's "Grace Chapel" with graveside service to follow at 1:15 pm in Riverside National Cemetery.
