WILLIAM WASHINGTON BAGGETT

William Washington Baggett, 90, passed away on October 27, 2022 in Riverside, California.

He was born on August 31, 1932 in Crenshaw County, Alabama to Charlie and Ludie (Loard) Baggett. He served in the United States Air Force from 1952-1956 as a cryptographer and he earned the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. After the military her worked as a computer operator in communications for the Department of Defense. 

William was a beloved fathe, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife Elaine in 2016, 1 sister and 6 brothers. He is survived by his daughter Elaine Carol Johnson, son Vincent Baggett, 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and his brother Douglas Baggett.

Funeral Service will be Monday, November 14, 2022 in Grimes-Akes Family's "Grace Chapel" at 12 pm.

Graveside service will be in Riverside National Cemetery at 2 pm.
