VIRGINIA GONZALEZ Obituary

In Loving Memory of Virginia Arias Cruz Gonzalez September 14, 1944 – May 1, 2025

With heavy hearts, we honor and remember the beautiful life of Virginia Cruz Arias Gonzalez, a woman of strength, compassion, and unwavering love. Virginia passed away on May 1, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and devotion that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved children: Ty Montoya, Valerie Montoya, and Vikki Rorie—each a testament to her enduring love and guidance. Her son-in-law Gary Rorie and daughter-in-law Carolyn Montoya, whom she embraced as her own, shared in the joys and challenges of family life with her. Virginia found immeasurable joy in her four grandchildren—Meaghan, Victoria "Tori", Jude, and Joaquin—and her three great-grandchildren—Jadyn, Jack, and Dax—who brought endless light to her days.

Virginia’s devotion to her church, family, and friends was at the core of who she was. A proud graduate of Colton High School, she navigated the challenges of life with resilience. As a single mother, she worked diligently at Norton AFB, providing for her family with steadfast determination. Her ambition and tenacity led her to Kaiser Hospital’s Commuter Services Department, where she competed for top positions and excelled, commuting tirelessly from Rialto to Los Angeles for years. After 35 years of service, she retired, leaving behind an impressive career and the respect of colleagues who admired her dedication.

Beyond her professional success, Virginia embraced life with warmth and an adventurous spirit. She loved shopping and traveling to Las Vegas and Laughlin with family, cherishing every moment. Her home was a place of comfort and welcome, where holidays became cherished traditions, bringing loved ones together under her generous heart.

Fiercely outspoken yet fair, Virginia treated everyone with kindness, ensuring those around her felt valued and heard. Her presence had a way of making things better, as if her touch carried a quiet magic that soothed and reassured.

Although we mourn her passing, we find solace in knowing that her spirit lives on in the love she gave, the lessons she imparted, and the memories we hold dear. Until we meet again in heaven, may her soul rest in eternal peace.

Virginia, you are deeply missed and forever loved.
