VERNON GLENN SEWELL

Vernon Glenn Sewell, 70, passed away on August 14, 2021 in Duarte, California. He was born to Arnold and Vera (Gudgeon)Sewell on September 8, 1950 in Lynwood, California. He worked as a real estate agent for 15 years. He joined the United States Army in May of 1971 and served 2 years with an honorable discharge and earned the National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the Sharpshooter Badge (M-16).

Vernon enjoyed golf, and reading about history. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He leaves behind his beloved wife Susan Sewell; children Brandon Sewell, Valerie Doyle, Melissa Lane, Michael McDonald; grandchildren Dylan Sewell, Gavin Doyle, Trinity Doyle, Lilly Doyle, Piper Doyle, Leia Doyle, Lorelai Lane, Guinevere Lane, Charlotte Lane, Atticus Lane, Nathan McDonald and Maverick McDonald; loving brother to Lawrence and Kenneth Sewell.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 181 W. Blain St. Riverside, Ca 92507 from 5-7 PM

Funeral Service will be on Thursday, September 9, 2021 in the Church at 10:30 am.

Graveside Committal will be in Riverside National Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
