TIMOTHY JOHN GOERGEN

Timothy John Goergen, age 74, passed away on October 1, 2021 in Riverside, California. He was born om February 17, 1947 in Illinois to Michael and Virginia (Rodger) Goergen.

He served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1965-1969 and was honorably discharged earning the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 4 stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device, Navy Unit Commendation, Combat Action Ribbon, Presidential Unit Citation, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and the Purple Heart. 

He worked in Construction as a carpenter for 40 years. He lived in Riverside County over 45 years. Tim was preceded in death by his beloved wife Vallerie in 2008. He is survived by his sons Steven Goergen, Garold "Jerry" Goergen, Joel "JD" Goergen, and Charles "Chuck" Goergen; daughters-in-law Kimberly Goergen, Jennifer Clinton, Joanne Ferraz and Angela Potter ;beloved grandchildren Timothy, BrittanyGoergen, Charles Goergen, Benjamin Goergen, Adam Goergen, Seth Goergen, Cheyenne Goergen, Logan Goergen, Shelby Goergen, Brianna Andrade, Albert Ferraz Vieira, Sjon Paul Ferraz Vieira and Christopher Ferraz.; great- grandchildren Thora Vieira, Makayla Jean Ferraz Vieira.

Graveside Service will be Friday, November 26, 2021 in Riverside National Cemetery at 11:30 AM
