SUSAN DENISE McDONOUGH

Susan Denise McDonough, 75, of Riverside, California, passed away on September 7, 2025,
leaving behind a legacy defined by quiet strength, sharp intellect, and unwavering independence.

Born on August 21, 1950, Susan built a life centered on self-reliance and thoughtful intention. She
approached every challenge with calm determination and was known for her ability to navigate
life’s complexities with both intelligence and grace.

A long-time Account Clerk, Susan was admired for her precision, her steady work ethic, and her
strong sense of personal responsibility. She had a thoughtful way of approaching life, she’s always
steady, intentional, and grounded in clarity about the things that mattered most to her. These
qualities were reflected not just in her work, but in the way she planned her life with care and
foresight.

Susan valued her autonomy deeply. She was deliberate in the decisions she made, especially as
she prepared for her later years. Her planning reflected her desire to ensure her wishes were
respected, a testament to the strength and clarity she carried throughout her life.

She will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery, where she will join her beloved husband,
Thomas C. McDonough, with whom she shared many years of partnership, companionship, and
devotion.

Susan will be remembered for her resilience, her intelligence, and her quiet but powerful presence.
Those who knew her will hold onto the memory of a woman who lived life on her own terms, she’s
strong, capable, and true to herself.
