Sherlyn Williams
A Loving Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt & Friend
Reflections of Life
On January 15, 1967 Joeanne Johnson and Lynon Williams had a beautiful little baby girl. They decided to name their little girl Sherlyn Williams.
Sherlyn spent her formative years growing up in California. Sherlyn attended Emmerson Elementary, Wally Jr. High, and Arlington High School in Riverside, Calsifornia.
Sherlyn was truly blessed to have had a loving step-father in her life. Her mother Joeanne, meeting and marrying James Edward Johnson was truly a blessing in her life. James took Sherlyn in and raised her as his own.
Sherlyn truly loved her family. She was blessed with three beautiful children. Sherlyn always had a beautiful spirit and life about herself. Unfortunately, an automobile accident left her partially disabled and unable to work. Sherlyn's life changed after the accident, but her love for her family never changed.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother Sadie, other grandparents, and father.
Sherlyn leaves to cherish the wonderful memories: her mother Joeanne Johnson, her children: Dumond Williams, Sabrina Williams, and Michael Williams: her siblings Patrina Mayo, Patricia Taylor, and David Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members.
Funeral service will be on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Sandals Church Palmyrita Ave. Riverside, Ca 92507
