Ramon Hernandez Lopez

Ramon Hernandez Lopez, age 78, passed away on March 2, 2020 in Monrovia, California. He was born on April 2, 1941 in Los Angeles, California to Guadalupe and Filiberta (Hernandez) Lopez. . At the age of 18 he enlisted in the United States air Force and served his country as an airman second Class and earned the Good Conduct Medal. He received an honorable discharge after almost 4 years of service. He then worked as a welder in aircraft manufacturing for 30 years. Ramon enjoyed cooking, making delicious salsa, his guns and going to airshows. 

He was preceded in death by his long time love and life partner Hortencia Moreno. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter Joanna Roberts, his son Frank Lopez, his step daughters Connie Mendoza and Arlene Olmos. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, his brother Gilbert Lopez, sisters Jessie Banuelos and Lupe Ramirez and his. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
