ROSA MATILDE RIVERA

ROSA MATILDE RIVERA, 78, passed away on May 30, 2025 in Perris, California. She was born on January 9, 1947 in Puerto Rico to Ramon and Gladys (Del Valle) Aguilar.

Rosie finished High School and had ambitions to go to business school. But when she moved to New York she started her little family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Rosie began her career at Woolworth in Puerto Rico, where she saved money to move to New York. Once there, she found work at a paintbrush factory in the Bronx. Throughout her life, she held various jobs, but her favorite role was as a Pastor’s wife. In that capacity, she contributed to the church in numerous ways while also working as a caregiver for many clients until she retired at the vibrant age of 65.

She leaves behind her beloved husband Angel, her children Nestor Rivera (Andrea), Robin Rivera, Robin L. Rivera (Darlene), Noel Rivera, Doreen Rivera; grandchildren Daniel C. Rivera, Michael D. Rivera, Nicholas Rivera, Noah Rivera, Natalia Hubbard (Clayton), Danielle Ford (Kyle) and Ivonna Rivera; great grandchildren Julia, Bradley, Reina, Madison, Rome, August and Leo, and her beloved sister of Anexis Gonzalez.

Family will receive guests on Friday, June 6, 2025 from 10am-10;30am at Teplo Roca Firme, Riverside, California. Funeral Service will begin at 10:30 am. Interment will beat Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park at a date to be determined.
