ROBERTO CEJA OCHOA Obituary

Roberto Ceja Ochoa was born on December 21, 1951, to Herminio Ceja and Esperanza Ceja
Ochoa. With profound sorrow, we announce that on March 28, 2025, in Riverside, California, he
entered eternal rest.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Isidra Ceja, whom he lovingly referred to as “Mi
Luz” (My Light). Roberto also leaves behind his beloved children: Roberto Jr., Yvette, Carina,
and Cindy; his cherished grandchildren: Brandy, Jocelyn, Daniel, Adeliz, Jazmin, Bella, Irving,
Kayla, Giselle, Isaiah, Mia, Vanessa, and Roberto III; and his treasured great-grandchildren:
Mila, Melanie, and Edmund Robert.

A special acknowledgment is extended to his lifelong friend and partner, Mr. Celso Calderon,
affectionately known by Roberto as “Mi Brodi,” and to Mr. Joseph Michael Democko III, whose
selfless kidney donation granted our family precious additional years with him. We remain
forever grateful for their presence and impact in his life.

To describe Roberto is to speak of a man who was brave, humble, and endlessly loving—a man
whose unforgettable smile and distinct laughter will forever echo in our hearts. He arrived in this
country with humble beginnings and nothing more than a dream—to succeed, to thrive, and to
build a better future. Through unwavering determination and grace, he achieved what many
aspire to: the American Dream, all while remaining grounded, generous, and deeply family
oriented.

Roberto was a pillar of strength, known for his fierce devotion to his family. He fought
courageously against kidney disease for eight years, enduring countless hospital visits and
unimaginable pain. Yet through it all, he continued to give everything he had—choosing love,
presence, and the creation of memories over surrender.

Admired by many and loved by all, his absence will be profoundly felt. Yet, his legacy endures.
He will continue to live within each of us—eternally present, eternally loved.

Visitation and service will be at the family home on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 3 pm - 9 pm at 18995 State St. Corona, California 92881
