ROBERT JAMES JEZIK

Robert James Jezik, 95, was born on Monday, May 13, 1929, to John and Frances Jezik in Jennings, Missouri.

Robert honorably served in the United States Army from March 12, 1951 – August 03, 1956.

Robert received his PhD from Purdue University in Indiana. After college, he worked as an engineer in the aerospace industry.

Robert passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 30, 2024.

He is survived by his wife Lilian I. Jezik, their children Lilian Marmon (Robert), Vanessa Schoenewald (Tyler) and Victoria Jezik, as well as his grandchildren Robert, Sofia and Isabela Marmon, and Avett Schoenewald.  Also survived by brothers John Jezik and Charles Jezik.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents John and Frances Jezik, and brothers Edward, Raymond and Eugene. He is also preceded in death by his first wife Helen Barry. He is survived by  their children Deborah Jezik – Chaves, Gregory Jezik (Terry), Cynthia Jezik and Karen Jezik; as well as his grandchildren Gregory Oliman, Thomas, and Christie.

Robert will have military honors at Riverside National Cemetery on Friday, January 4, 2025.
