Robert James Anderson

Bob was born June, 1 1952 in Long Beach, Los Angeles County, California. As a child he lived in Long Beach, Anaheim, Fresno, Sanger and San Jose, California. At age 11, his family settled in Rancho Cordova, California.

Bob graduated from Cordova High School in June 1970. He graduated from the University of California, Davis (B.Sci, Physics and Math) and then earned his Masters degree at the University of California, Riverside.

Bob was married for one year to the late Mary Helen Basshaw, in Alameda, California.

In 1978, Bob settled in Riverside, California. Then in 1994, he moved to Tucson, Arizona.

Bob passed away at his home in Tucson, Arizona May 29, 2022.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Ramona C. Anderson and his father, John L. Anderson. Bob is survived by his siblings Carolyn (Fresno, CA), John (Riverside County, CA), David (Marty) (Missouri) and Thomas (Kit) (Marin County, CA); close friend Christina Sebastian and her children; and seven cousins.

Memorial Service will be on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 10am in Grimes-Akes Family's "Grace Chapel" Corona, California
