Robert Mondt Harbour passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the age of 87, at home with family in
Ontario, California. He was born January 25, 1936 in Los Angeles. Robert graduated from San Fernando
High School in 1955, and joined the Army a week later. He served most of his time at Camp Crowder
Missouri where he met and married Joyce Adams on May 28, 1957. He retired in 2004 after working 36
years at International Extrusion in Alhambra, California.
He was a member of Whispering Lakes Community Church for 5 years, Calvary Baptist Church in Ontario
for 21 years, and the Gideon’s since 2010 until his passing. He was an avid bowler for 42 years. He loved
playing poker and blackjack with family, picnics at the park, baseball, drawing, and crossword puzzles.
Robert is survived by his wife Joyce, brother Bruce Harbour, his eight children Kathy (rick) Tunell of
Bakersfield, Susie (Garry) Frazier of Ontario, Bob (Jerilyn) Harbour of Concordia, MO., Valerie (Jeff)
Vannoy of Lake Elsinore, Bill (Marty) Harbour of Sumter, SC, Jerry (Beverly) Harbour of Denver, CO,
James Harbour of Ontario, and Adam (Christy) Harbour of San Bernardino, his 29 grandchildren, 26
great-grandchildren, 5 nieces, and 2 nephews.
He will be remembered as a great husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and
friend, and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 10:30-11:30 am at Sandals on Palm, Riverside, California.
Funeral Service will be at 12 noon followed by graveside committal in Riverside National Cemetery at 1:45 pm.
