ROBERT WAYNE EDIE

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Wayne Edie, age 55.
After a valiant fight with ALS, Robert passed away on Saturday, April 5th, 2025, in
Redlands, California. His life was a testament to love, resilience, and an unyielding
dedication to his family and community.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Ilona, and their three beloved children, Sierra Edie,
Kylie Edie, and Ashely Edie. He also leaves behind Airissa Flores, a cherished friend of
his daughter’s, whom he welcomed into their home and considered a bonus child.
Robert was the devoted son of Joanne (Cobb) and Johnny Edie. While his father is
deceased, Robert continued to live by the values instilled in him.

As a respected Lead Machinist at Torrance Logistics in Cerritos, California, Robert was
admired by his colleagues for his expertise and strong work ethic. Outside of his
profession, he was passionate about fitness, regularly participating in 5K and 10K
races, demonstrating his commitment to health and wellness. Robert also dedicated his
time to the March of Dimes, striving to make a difference in the lives of others, and
participated in mission trips with the Grove Community Church in Riverside, selflessly
serving communities in need.

Robert faced his battle with ALS with extraordinary courage and grace, inspiring
everyone around him with his optimism and affection. He will be remembered not only
for his achievements but also for the significant difference he made in the lives of his
family, friends, and the community.

A celebration of Robert’s life will be held to honor his legacy of love, resilience, and
dedication. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who
knew and loved him.
