Rizalina Rodriguez Gice, age 76, passed away in her home in Rialto California and called to our Lord on April 11, 2024. She was born in Cebu City, Philippines on May 14, 2024. To all that knew her, she was a unique and caring soul who touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with. She married Johnny Joseph Gice in 1969 and raised four loving children, John, Lance, Melissa and Melinda. Her parents were Florencio Rodriguez and Emiliana Salazar-Rodriguez. She had two brothers and two sisters, WIlliam Rodriguez, Rolando Rodriguez, Myrna Wright, and Baby LeClaire. She had two grandchildren, Justin and Jeremy Gice, and three great-grandchildren, Roman, Jayden and Mailee.
She attended college in the Philippines where she obtained her Bachelors degree in English. When she moved to the United States in 1969 she worked for the San Bernardino School District as and English and Spanish teacher. Her love, however, was as an interior decorator and she worked for Home Interiors for over 20 years. She was greatly involved in her church where she was a member, The Church of Christ, and served as a deaconess. Her hobbies were gardening, bowling, and spending time with family and friends.
Funeral service will be on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 10 am in Akes Family's "Chapel of the Chimes" Riverside, California.
Graveside service will be at 1 pm at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California.
