RICHARD FROMDAHL Obituary

The family of Richard (Doc) N. Fromdahl is saddened to announce his passing on June
20, 2025, at the age of 89. He was born in Minot, North Dakota to Arby “Guy” and
Vernona Fromdahl on June 4, 1936.
He was a beloved husband, father, uncle, grandfather and friend. He was preceded in
death by his wife Caryl, his parents, his son Donald, his brothers Danny and Jimmy, his
sisters Karen, Barbara, Suzy and Nicki.
He is survived by his children Kathy and Steve, Richard and Lori. Tom and Elaine,
Rob, Mark and Maricela, 17 grandchildren,14 great grandchildren and his two sisters
Rochelle and Colleen.
Doc enjoyed traveling, playing cards, fantasy football and was an avid golfer. Most of all
he enjoyed the companionship of his family and friends.
A visitation service will be on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 4pm to 8pm in Grimes-Akes
Family’s “Grace Chapel”. The recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 6pm.
Mass and Burial will be Friday, July 11, 2025, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic
Cemetery Colton Ca. Mass will be at the on-site church 10am to 11am. Burial will be at
11:30 am.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to all of Doc’s caregivers that provided
love and compassion to him daily. Thank you.
