MYRTLE JONES Obituary

Myrtle Lee Jones was born August 28th, 1947, in Malvern
Arkansas, to Jessie Jefferson Davis and Alice Freeman Davis. Myrtle
was such a blessing to her parents as she brought so much Joy and
love to their lives. Myrtle accepted Christ into her life at a very young
age. She attended Tuggle Elementary school then Wilson High School
in Malvern Arkansas. After attending school, she pursued her career in
domestic hospitality.

In pursuit of a better life for her family, Myrtle relocated to Los
Angeles California. About one year after moving to California she
pursued her career as a caregiver. She was fun, loving and a caring
person. She was always willing to give a helping hand; she deeply cared
about others and was always there no matter day or night.

Myrtle was an extremely vibrant person, she loved to laugh and
to make people laugh. She was always the life of the party. She
absolutely loved her southern soul food; cooked it and ate it any chance
she got. In her younger years she loved to go out and enjoyed her
friends and good music. Even in her elder years she still loved to dance
and have a good time. she had the best stories. Until her very last days
she loved to look nice she took immense pride in her appearance and
kept herself looking good. It was rare to see her without her beloved
eyelashes and nails.

Myrtle was blessed to have eleven children 6 sons and 5
Daughters. Whom she loved with her entire being. Her children were her
world and she made that perfectly clear to everyone.

On Thursday, January 13th, 2022, God dispatched his angels to
bring his child home. Singing and rejoicing around her bed as God
called her home.

Myrtle leaves to cherish her precious memories and celebrate
her home going; her children Katie Carroll, Donald Carroll, Louise Webb,
Valarie Jones, Tameca Campana, Lamar Gray, Emmanuel Gray, Isaac
Gray, Isaiah Gray and Yolanda Gray. Her brother Jesse Davis, Her
sister in Love Pat Davis and her long-time partner David Gray. She was
preceded in death by her parents Jesse Jefferson Davis and Alice Lee
Davis, her husband Schofield Johnathan Jones Jr. Her son Bryant
Jones, her grandbabies Donald Carrol Jr., Charlessa Winbush, Kevin
Coleman, and a host of family and friends. She will be so deeply missed.
