MELIDA LOPEZ MONTES

Melida Lopez Montes, 64, passed away on June 17, 2023 in Reno, Nevada. She was born on December 1, 1958 in Jalisco, Mexico to Jose Lopez and Maria Vasquez. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and going to casinos. 

Melida was preceded in death by her husband Ruben, and her son Ruben Jr. She is survived by her daughters Claudia I. Sanchez, Jenny Montes, and Daisy L. Solis: grandchildren Jesus, Maria, Jose, Cielo, Jocely, Alexis, Victor, RJ, Briana, Chuyito, Fernando, and Cristal; and great-grandchildren Emiliano and Lucy.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 30, 2023 from 4-8 pm in Grimes-Akes Family's "Grace Chapel" Corona, California. Chapel Blessing will begin at 6:00pm
