MARY JO McCRANEY

Mary Jo McCraney, 66, passed away on September 15, 2023 in Riverside, California. She was born on October 24, 1956 in Florida to Thomas and Josephine (Hess) Owens. Mary was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She worked as an executive secretary for the last seven years after having been a stay-at-home mother for most of her life. Her hobbies included spending time with her family and karaoke.

Mary is survived by her daughter Mia Day-Butler, son Miracleous Owens, grandsons Tyler Beaman and Jaden Butler, sister Hyles Owens, brothers Eric (Mahani) Owens, and Andre Owens, nephews Denerr Thomas and Kamal Owens.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy McCraney along with her parents Thomas and Josephine Owens.

Services are ending at this time.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in her name to WomenHeart.
