MARIA O. BECERRA

Maria O. Becerra was born in San Jose, Sinaloa, Mexico on January 1, 1941 one of 10 children born to Domingo Ortiz and Juana Gurrola Ortiz

She is survived by her husband Jesus Becerra, three grandchildren, Alyssa Ortiz, Jesse Ortiz, and Michael Ortiz

She is also survived by two sisters, Maria Pacheco and Cecilia Ortiz, as well as three brothers, Berna, Bruno, and Manuel Ortiz, as well as a legion of nieces and nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews who will miss her terribly. She was preceded in death by her only son Miguel Angel Ortiz who passed 18 years ago

Maria was a resident of California well over 40 years and retired to Arizona nine years ago with her husband.

Prior to retirement in Arizona, she was very active in her local church of St. Andrew. Maria was a very active person, up to the last year, always looking after her family in any way she could.

Family gathering will be on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 from 4-8 pm in Grimes-Akes Family's "Grace Chapel", Corona, California.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at St. Edward Catholic Church at 10:00 am

Inurnment will be at Corona Sunnyslope Cemetery at 11:30 am.
