MANUEL BARRAGAN JIMENEZ

Manuel Barragan, 79, of Corona CA, entered God’s kingdom on May 2nd, 2023. He was born in Nayarit, Mexico on March 28,1944, to Herlinda (Jimenez) and Candelario Barragan.  

Manuel, a benevolent and devoted husband, father, and grandfather is survived by his wife, Luisa, sons, Manuel, Luis, Victor, Esteban daughters, Hilda, Berenice, Isela, Maricruz & Cecilia grandchildren Alejandro, Bianca, Nayeli, Tayre, Edgar, Ivan, Benjamin, Alek, Declan, Elias, Alyssa and Samuel and great grandchildren Evelyn & Lorenzo.   

Manuel Married his wife in February 1967, he and his wife raised nine children together. Manuel was a produce clerk and groundskeeper for Tom’s Farm for most of his career. Later in life he dabbled in landscaping as an encore career and hobby. Manuel had an unconditional and joyous love for his grandchildren, he spent the remainder of his life basking in the role of grandpa.  

Manuel was a gentle man who enjoyed playing on his kindle, watching television, rescuing stray cats, tending to his birds, fishing, casinos and reading old western books. He was a selfless man whose passing left a hole in the heart of his loved ones. His ability to sacrifice, provide, forgive, and love will be forever engrained in his family’s heart. A man with a simple taste of jeans and t-shirts, he focused on providing his children with the best life possible without worrying about himself. His impact will be forever felt by his family, that loves him deeply. 

Visitation will be on Friday, May 276, 2023 at 11:15 am with Mass of Christian Burial service at 12:15 pm at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Corona, Ca.

Graveside Service will follow at Corona Sunnyslope Cemetery at 1:30 pm.
