Obituary

Manuel Michael Armour, 69, of Apple Valley, CA, passed away on February 20th, 2022 after a
valiant struggle with chronic respiratory issues.
Manuel was born on September 10, 1952 to Louis and Ruby Armour in New Orleans, Louisiana.
They moved to California when he was 5 years old. He graduated from Crenshaw High School
in 1970.  From 1972 -1974 he served in the United States Army. He received his associate’s
degree from Los Angeles Community College.
After graduation and serving his country, he landed a position as a Clerk/Carrier for the U. S.
Postal Service, where he would then retire after 32 years.
In 1991, he met his dear wife Maria, they went on to marry and have 3 children, Monica,
Alex, and Anthony. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
Manny was a Harley Davidson enthusiast. He made numerous bike runs over the years and had
an extensive pin collection. He bought his first Harley when he was 21 and "Lived to Ride" for
over 30 years.
Anyone who knew him well, knew that he was mechanically inclined and could fix almost
anything, from household appliances, to motorcycles and automobiles. Saving his family, a
small fortune, over the years.
He is survived by his Father Louis, Sister Dianne, Children Melanie, Raylene, and Manuel Jr.
and Grandchild Agent.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Germaine and Inger and brother Anthony.
We wish you farewell on your journey to eternity!
Funeral Mass will be on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 11:30 AM in St. Catherine of Alexandria
Catholic Church 3680 Arlington Ave., Riverside, CA 92506
