Obituary

LONNIE GENE PETERSON, 77, passed away on February 26, 2023 in Loma Linda, California. He was born on October 24, 1945 in Whittier, California to Clare and Katherine (Kramer) Peterson. 

Lonnie was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He served in the United States  Air Force from 1966-1970 as an Airplane Mechanic and earned the National Defense Service Medal, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon, Air Force Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with Bronze Star, Air Force Good Conduct Medal and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. He worked then for the tool manufacturing industry for 35 years. He enjoyed bowling and golf and he was a computer geek guru.

Lonnie is survived by his wife J. Patricia Peterson, daughters Joanne Renteria and Susan Fortunato; grandchildren Joseph Renteria, Alice Toka, Nicolette Toka, and Elena Toka and a sister Kayleen Saint John.

Funeral Service will be on Monday, March 13, 2023 at 1:30 in the afternoon in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California.
