KENNETH NICHOLAS SOLIS

Keni Solis, 43, a beloved son, brother, cousin, nephew, grandson, husband, and devoted father, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, January 14, 2025. Keni was born on November 11, 1981, in Fontana, California, to Lily Solis (née Gutierrez) and Randy Solis (Sr.). He was a graduate of Riverside Polytechnic High School, where he met his wife Vanessa Manrique. Keni was a warm, fun-loving man with a kind heart and a playful sense of humor. His laughter was full of charm and brought joy to everyone around him. He had a true love for baseball that started when he played the game as a child.  As an adult, he enjoyed visiting the ballpark and cheering for his favorite team, the Angels. He adored his three children, Michael, Jenna, and Emma, as well as his godsons Vincent and Lucas. Keni will be profoundly missed and will forever live on in our hearts and memories. Keni is survived by his children, Michael and Emma; his wife, Vanessa; his mother, Lily; his father, Randy; and his brother, Randy (Monica). 

A memorial/rosary will be held on Thursday, January 30 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Akes Family Funeral Home (9695 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, 92503).

A mass and funeral will be held the following day, Friday, January 31. Mass will begin at 1:00 pm at St Francis de Sales Catholic Church (4268 Lime St, Riverside, 92501). The funeral will take place immediately following the mass (approximately 2:00 pm) at Evergreen Memorial Park (4414 14th St, Riverside, 92501).
