Kenneth Christian Brennan, 77 passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023, in Riverside,
California. He was born on Monday, April 8, 1946, in Riverside California, to Betty Layne
(Coburn) and Kenneth Joseph Brennan.
Kenneth, nicknamed “KC”, graduated in 1964 from Old Poly High in Riverside, California
where he lived for most of his life. In 1966, just two years later KC was drafted into the
United States Army, where he served for two years in Germany.
KC worked for K Brennan Excavating “We move the earth.” He enjoyed his work there and
could often be heard saying “Dirt never sleeps.” Kenneth later retired from EarthTek as a
superintendent.
Kenneth was married once before in October of 1969 where he had his first three sons
Kevin, Darrin, and Scott. In 1982, Kenneth met his current wife Molly, and her son Chucky.
They married, adding a new son to the family, and went on to have two more children
Casey “CJ” and Jacob. To complete their dreams of having a large family.
Safe to say Kenneth and Molly’s home was filled with love, laughter, and children. Kenneth
did what any devoted father would do, he dove headfirst into fatherhood. He was very
present and active in all the kids’ activities. He was a soccer coach, and a baseball coach.
He would take all the kids camping and shooting. He would help the boys fix their bikes, and
even help them with their paper routes. He was an avid hunter and golfer. He especially
loved woodworking. He made gun cases, humidors, and walking sticks made of exotic
wood.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 41 years Molly and their children, Kevin, Darrin, Scott,
Jacob, and CJ. 17 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers Kevin, and Kerry, and
sister Kelly, 8 brothers-in-law, and 5 sisters-in-law, 1 mother-in-law, as well as many nieces
and nephews.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his son Chucky, his grandson Christian Brennan, and great
grandson Christian Brennan.
