Karen Hoppe passed away on Thursday, August 22nd, 2024, at 58, in Pinon Hills, California.
Karen is survived by her son, Branden, daughter-in- “love” Karyn, and their two sons, Joshua
and Ethan; her sister, Sandra, brother-in- “love” Mike, and their three children, Juliette, Allison,
and Matthew; and her stepfather, Russ Parker. Karen had a natural talent for showing those
around her that she cared about them. Her smile was infectious, and she was always there
when you needed a good laugh. She spent most of her life and career as a San Bernardino
County Transitional Assistance Department Supervisor. Her genuine pride in life was her son
and grandchildren, Joshua and Ethan. She spent every waking moment making sure they knew
how special they were to her.
Karen was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan; just kidding, one last prank on Mom. She was a HUGE Green Bay Packers fan and was often decked out in full Green Bay Packers clothing and accessories, short of the helmet and pads, of course. Karen’s passions throughout life included being a “river rat”, bowling, and watching football.
Karen was preceded in death by her father, Colonel Rodney Alley (1980), her husband, Anthony Hoppe (2011), and her mother, Sheila Parker (2024). Her friends and family will truly miss her;
Her memory will forever be imprinted in the hearts of those who knew her.
