JOHN C. BLOCK

John C. Block passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022, in Loma Linda Hospital. He was born in Waynsburg, PA. on Monday, December 10, 1951. Son of Louise and John Block. John grew up in Nemacolin, Pa. He joined the Navy where he served in Vietnam. After Vietnam John came to California where he married Pamela Block. John served in the military for 23 years. After retiring from the Navy, John work for San Bernardino Police Department as a record manager for 14 years. After retiring from the police department, he got involved with the patriot guard. He was an active member participating in many missions. When he could not participate in the missions anymore, he continues to make plaques for the families of fallen soldiers. John had a big loving heart for everyone. During retirement he loved taking his grandkids to school, making them breakfast, and spending time with family. When he was not with family, he spent time in the garage making wood plaques, crosses, and other items. John loved taking his things to craft fairs. He never met stranger. He often gave his items away because he cared more about the person than making money. John is survived by his wife Pamela Block, son Joseph Block, son and daughter in law Matthew and Autumn Block, daughter Kelly Block, granddaughters Christina Block and Aspen Block, granddaughters Halie and Rebekah Block, grandsons Johnathan and Zachary Block.
