JENNIFER JEAN POTTER

Jennifer Jean Potter passed away on April 23, 2023 at the age of 39, at her home in Riverside, CA. During her final days she was surrounded by her loving family, dearest friends, and the light of her life, her daughter Ella. Jenn would not want us to say that she lost her battle with cancer, as she is likely telling anyone in heaven who will listen the complete opposite, so we won’t. Instead we will tell you about a caring, selfless soul that spent the last seven years overcoming every challenge that was thrown at her with more pride, strength, and optimism than most. 

Born April 19, 1984 in Long Beach, CA to Randall Potter and Laurie Cooke Harris, Jenn went on to spend majority of her life growing up in Corona, CA with her siblings Justine and Tyler. Her adult years were later spent in Riverside, CA where she brought her greatest pride and joy into this world, Ella. Jenn would tell you that becoming a mom to Ella was her greatest achievement and the source of her endless strength, and that is an unwavering fact. 

A mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a coworker, Jenn touched the lives of so many people. Having never met a stranger, every person was someone to know, someone to help, someone to love, and Jenn did just that. She saw the good in everyone. An optimist to her core, even in the final moments of her life as she refused to accept defeat. Always the loudest, brightest, most vibrant person in a room…To say she will be missed is an understatement. For those that knew her and loved her, we will hold her in our hearts and honor her memory each day. Whether it’s by watching Friends, eating too much sugar, wearing our brightest pink shirts, the moments and stories will forever be cherished. 

Rest in peace our beautiful Angel, you will never be forgotten. 

Memorial Service will be on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 10 O'Clock in the morning in Grimes-Akes Family's "Grace Chapel" Corona, California. 

Reception will follow at the Riverside Elks Lodge from 12-6 pm.
