JAMES PATRICK WASHINGTON

James Patrick Washington of Silver Spring, Maryland was born on November 18,1959 to Ellis Anne (White) and James Daniel Washington. James sadly passed away on March 16, 2023 in Riverside, California after a long battle with cancer. He was a peaceful and gentle natured person who had a lifelong commitment to Eastern Arts and Healing. James loved life, his family, nature, music, and animals. He will be deeply missed by anyone who's lives he has ever touched. 

James was preceded in death by his beloved brother Daniel. He is survived by his sisters Kathleen and Peggy, his wife Yan, and his two children Amrita and Sylas from his previous marriage to the late Sophia. 

James Patrick Washington will be laid to rest on Friday April 7th at 9:30 AM at Evergreen Cemetery in Riverside California.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in his name to the American Cancer Society or to the Catalina Island Conservancy.
