JAMES CRAIG CAMPAU

James Craig Campau was  born June 10, 1949 in Hawthorne, California to James and Catherine Campau and passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 16, 2024 in Riverside, California at the age of 74 years.

James was a proud veteran of the Vietnam war, serving our country in the United States Navy. Following his honorable discharge he worked as an industrial painter and coatings inspector for 45 years.

James married Lourdes Marie Colon June 7, 1969, a love that spanned 43 years. James remarried shortly after his wife's passing to Yumei Meng in 2013. 

Loving father of James B. Campau, Danielle Joy, Jennifer Rodriguez, Jessica Arbizu and Elliott Campau. Loving brother of Terry Minton and Larry Minton. Devoted grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. 

James is preceded  in death by his parents James and Catherine Campau, his late wife Lourdes Marie Campau, his loving brother Larry Minton and his son James B. Campau.

Memorial service with honors will be on April 15, 2024 at Riverside National Cemetery at 2:45 pm.

Memorial services will follow with family scattering of ashes at sea.
