Harold (Bob) Robert Pratt, at the age of 65, went home to the Lord July 9 th , 2022 in Loma
Linda, California. He was born March 14, 1957 in El Monte, California to Robert T Pratt and
Eileen E. Phillips. His family, friends, and acquaintances simply referred to Harold as “Bob”. His
fully authentic name and quick humor were the hallmarks of knowing him.
Bob was married to Lori Pratt for 36 years. Their love story began in Colorado, where
Lori was working at a bar and Bob came in for a drink with a group of guys that worked with
him at a nearby automotive shop. Bob and Lori lived in Colorado for many years, where they
had their first child, Johnathon. Later they moved to California and had their second child,
Sarina.
Bob served in the US Army at the age of 18. After four years of service, he was
honorably discharged at the age of 22. In his younger years, he owned an all-male revue dance
troop. Over the years, Bob worked in automotive, working on classic antique cars and
specializing in bodywork. He also had a love for motorcycles, drag racing, fishing, and being out
in the ocean on his boats. Bob used his creativity and intelligence in his free time to handle
handyman repairs and refurbishing wood and furniture. Bob had one of the biggest hearts you
could imagine. He would give you the shirt off his back if he knew you needed it or his very last
penny. Bob was always willing to be the brother, father, or friend that people needed in their
lives. Harold also had a love for humor. He could make anyone smile, almost always with an
inappropriate topic and timing, and typically including an impromptu water fight. He was a man
that was always there when it mattered most and could always make your day brighter by
making you laugh.
Bob leaves behind his wife, Lori A. Pratt, two children, Sarina D. and Johnathon R., and six
grandchildren. One sister, Brenda L. Norton and one goddaughter, Angela L. Light. Bob was
preceded in death by his mother, Eileen E. Phillips, father, Robert T. Pratt, and brother, Michael
Lee Pratt.
The Memorial service will take place on Wednesday, August 10 th at 11:30am.
