Gabriel Soto Soto, age 76, passed away on June 17, 2020 in Anaheim, California. He was born to Eglicerio and Epifania Soto on February 28, 1944 in Guadalajara, Mexico. He worked as a truck driver for 40 years.
Gabriel was extremely proud to be a United States citizen. He was proud of his "CDL" and "M1" driver license. He enjoyed music so much that with his first paycheck, he bought himself a Telefunken record player. His love of music caused him to play it so loud that he would annoy his neighbors.
Gabriel enjoy dancing and he even won a few dance competitions, as well as an Elvis impersonator competition. Gabriel enjoyed driving and stopping while he was traveling down to Guadalajara, Mexico every year. He would always try to teach his family and friends how to drink Centenario tequila correctly. "You can't just shoot it, you need to sip your tequila, get a lemon with salt and habanero sauce."
Gabriel is survived by his loving wife Maria Eugenia (Gonzalez) Soto, and his two daughters Georgina Soto and Veronica Soto. He also leaves behind his beloved granddaughter Makaela. He was preceded in death by his brother Salvador, his sisters Rebeca, Carmen, Rogelia and Socorro.
