GAIL L. COX

Gail l. Cox, 80, passed away on April 6, 2026 in Hemet, California. She was born to William and
Jane (Askew) Edwards om January 14, 1946 in Washington. Gail has been in Riverside since she
was a young girl. She graduated from Ramona High School around 1963.
Gail worked for Sears for a number of years and also another dress shop in Riverside, making
lifelong friends. She then took a job at the Riverside County Sheriff Department doing
accounting. She worked there for 15 years until her retirement.
Gail loved her Golden Retrievers. It was her favorite breed of dog, although she loved all
animals, and always managed to have a cat. She loved the community in which she lived. She
enjoyed her neighbors and going on walks in the early morning listening to the birds singing
during the springtime.
Gail loved reading her books and shared them with her friends and neighbors.
Gail is survived by her brother William Edwards and her niece Rebekah.
