Frederico R. Reyes, 86, of Corona, CA, passed away peacefully at home on February 14, 2026, surrounded by his family.
Born on March 2, 1939, in Riverside, CA, Fred was the son of Saturnino and Andrea Reyes. He will be remembered for his kindness, strength, humor, devotion to his family, and strong work ethic. Fred dedicated many years to the grocery industry and was highly respected for his integrity, commitment, and sense of humor.
Beyond his career, Fred found joy in preparing exceptional barbecue—most notably his renowned pork ribs—traveling across Southern California with his beloved wife of over sixty years, Grace, and cherishing time with his family and grandchildren. His passion for baseball (California Angels) and football (LA Rams, USC Trojans) was well known and deeply felt.
Fred was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his devoted wife Grace; his children Adrian, Stephen, and Sonya; five grandchildren: Vanessa, Joshua, Christopher, Alyssa, and Brendan; one great-grandchild, Mason; and his cherished sister, Beatrice. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Steve, Guadalupe, and Rachel, and his son Aaron.
A funeral mass will be held on March 16, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 4208 Lime St., Riverside, CA 92501, followed by graveside services at 11:00 a.m. at Olivewood Memorial Park, 3300 Central Ave., Riverside, CA 92506.
Fred will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
