Dr. Frank G. De Balogh, Ph.D, passed away on March 31, 2022 in S. Pasadena, California. He was born on October 9, 1941 in Budapest Hungary to Frank and Eleanor (Bano) De Balogh.
He served in the United States Army from 1965-1968 and was honorably discharged earning the National Defense Service Medal and The Army Commendation Medal.
He retired as a District Adjudication Officer in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security after 11 years of service. He worked 23 years at USC as a Faculty member in the Institute of Safety & Systems Management. He also worked for the City of Los Angeles. He was President of National Computer Management, Inc. and he founded the California Ethnic Leadership Council. He held a Presidential appointment as Chair of National Selective Service Appeal Board, U.S. Selective Service System, 1985-1990. Reagan Associate, Ronald Reagan Presidential Library Foundation. He holds a Ph.D in Public Administration, USC and a BA in International Relations.
Franks father Frank Sr & mother Eleanor preceded him in death. Frank is survived by his wife Judy De Balogh of South Pasadena & married 49 years. Son Frank De Balogh III of Walnut CA, daughter in law Alina. Frank has 2 sisters Susan Frink of Granbury Texas and Elizabeth De Balogh of Los Angeles.
Viewing will be on Thursday, May 5, 2022 in Grimes Akes Family's 'Grace Chapel" from 5:30- 8 pm with chapel service at 6:30 pm.
Burial will be on Friday, May 6, 2022 in Riverside National Cemetery at 1:15 pm.
