ERNESTO JOAQUICO DE JESUS

It is with profound sadness that Ernesto J. de Jesus passed away on August 12, 2024 at the age of 91.   He was surrounded by his loving family.

Our pop was a man of immense humor and wisdom…cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones.  His passion was his family and carpentry (which he took as an elective in H.S.).  He loved going to the casino.  Favorite apparel:  gray sweatshirt, khaki pants, and a baseball cap.  

He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Ford County LST.   He retired as a tax auditor for the State of CA. 

He is survived by his wife:  Elizabeth de Jesus, 4 children:  Marilou Valdez, Jennifer de Jesus, Sherie Cambra, Joel de Jesus, 5 grandchildren: Nicole James, Corey Camarillo, Courtney Frye, Colby Cambra, Bailey Cambra, and 3 great grandchildren:  Duke James, Rorie Frye, Nolan Frye

His unwavering spirit will forever be remembered.  Always in our hearts and minds. 

Graveside Service will be held September 6, 2024 at 10:45am  at Riverside National Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA. 92518
