DIANNE (BART) FORD

Dianne Louise Bart was born on October 26, 1952 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Yvonne and David Bart Jr.  The family moved to Los Angeles, California in 1960.  She attended Manuel Arts High school, and Occidental College.  Dianne retired from Pacific Bell after working many years as a customer service representative.  Her last years of working with Pacific Bell were at the Hispanic Center in Riverside, California.
    Dianne gave birth to her only biological child, Zsavette Na Nashia Walker (Wortham) on July 8, 1970.  She married the love of her life, Henry Ford Sr. (Hank) on June 28, 1974.  That union yielded three bonus children, Henry Ford Jr., Rodney Ford, and Cynthia Ford. 
    Dianne enjoyed traveling, going to the casino, watching her soaps and movies, swimming, and shopping.  She had a real sweet tooth, and enjoyed drinking Pepsi, while “hanging out” in her “kick-it” room.
    Dianne was best known for her funny sense of humor.  She would often say funny things that even surprised herself.  She was direct to a fault, and had a stubborn fighting nature.  She loved her family and her friends, as if they were family.  Dianne was a true diva, relishing in all things pampering and beautiful.
    On Wednesday, April 21st Dianne lost her longtime battle with COPD.  Dianne’s fighting strength was evident, even in her last days of her life.  She was preceded in death by her father, David Bart Jr., her husband, Henry (Hank) Ford, her sister, Sharon Bart, and her daughter, Zsavette Wortham.  She leaves to mourn her mother, Yvonne Bart, two brothers, Emmanuel Doucet and David Bart III, a sister-in-law, Lynn Baylis, two sisters Deborah Leonard and Julie Tenette, brothers-in-law Jerome Leonard and Anthony Tenette, her three children, Henry Ford Jr., Rodney Ford, and Cynthia Ford, daughters-in-law Dienna Ford and Nichole Ford, grandchildren Terrelle Ford, Genesis Ford, Helena Ford, Gianni Ford, Chloe Ford, Exavier Edwards-Ford, Alyse Wallace-Ford, Bryce Ford, Shelese Morris, Carrington Johnson, Kennedi Lindsey, Zsamar Smith, and Miles Smith, and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be on Saturday, May 15, 2021 in Grimes Akes Family's "Grace Chapel" at 12 noon.

Committal service will be on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 in Forest Lawn Memorial PArk, Covina, California at 2:00 PM
