Dale Casados
Born in Ledoux, New Mexico on April 1, 1933. Passed away peacefully on October 22, 2024 in Riverside
California. Dale moved to California 1941, he Graduated at Perris Union high school in 1951.
Dale served in United States Army from 1953 to 1955 as a Combat Construction Specialist. He was
stationed at Fort Lewis. He was sent to Alaska to test out the new “Mickey Mouse” boots which were
insulated weather boots. These boots were tested for and during the Korean War. Dale was awarded the
National Defense Ribbon.
Dale married his high school sweetheart Shirley in 1954. Him and Shirley had three children, Kenneth,
Michael and Cathi. Dale he was involved in boys’ baseball, girls’ softball, Cub Scouts and Brownies from
1969 to 1989.
Years later Dale married Evie and spent the rest of his life with till the very last day. Dale worked at
Alumax (Hunter Engineering) for 35+ years where he retired in 1991. He loved many activities including
wood working, traveling, camping and fishing.
Dale was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-grandfather. He loved and was truly loved by
anyone who met him. He was the kind of man that would do anything for someone in need, He was a
man of his word. He will have a lasting impression on everyone who met him. He will be missed by so
many but will always be memorialized for the kind of human being he was.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 4-8 PM in Akes Family's "Chapel of the Chimes".
Funeral Mass will be Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 10 AM at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Riverside, California
Graveside service will follow at 12 pm at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California.
