Curtis Everett Jeter I, was born November 23,1952 to the late James Otis Jeter and Betty Jean (Jeter) Nelson. He graduated from Washington High School in 1970, then enlisted in the United States Air Force . For several years he worked for Winnebago Motor Homes, but spent the majority of his career as a concrete finisher with Anthony pools. In 2006, he graduated from California State University, Dominguez Hills , and earned certification as a Drug, Alcohol, and Domestic Violence Counselor. He completed his internship for Alcohol and Drug Counseling at the Veterans Affairs Long Beach Healthcare System.
He is preceeded in death by his brother: James Otis Hartfield Sr., father: James Otis Jeter, sister: Ana Michelle Jeter, daughter: Eunice Pree, and mother: Betty Jean (Jeter) Nelson. He leaves to cherish his loving memories his children: Dashonda Jeter, Taynika Jeter, China Patrick (Rodney), Curtis Everett Jeter II, Latice Pree, Marvin Pree, Pernell Pree, grandchildren: Faizon Rawlins, DaMia Barnes, Jazmin Johnson, Davonte Scott, Rodney Patrick, Jr., Ranaun Patrick, Maileah Patrick, Malia Patrick, Zakyia Jeter, Curtis Everett Jeter III, Seven Jeter, Jenesis Jeter, Amira Jeter, Zakierra Edgerson, Christian Cerda, Kamry Pree, Rakierra Staten, Crystal Clark, Sparkle Clark, Joe Clark, siblings: Leon Jeter, Kenneth Jeter, Jeanette Hanciles, Marcel Jeter, Eugene Jeter, Edward Nelson, Stacey Nelson, and a host of nephews and neices.
Graveside Service will be on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 10:45 am at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California.
