Christopher Kazuo Koda, Jr. passed away on September 8, 2021 in Loma Linda, California at the age of 75. He was born to Christopher and Beatrice (Inokuma) Koda, Sr. in Maui, Hawaii on August 3, 1946. At the age of 22 he enlisted in the United States Army and served for 2 years. He was honorably discharged having earned the National Defense Service Medal, the Bronze Star Medal, Expert Rifle Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 2 bronze stars, the Vietnam Campaign Medal and 2 O/S bars. After that he had a career in computer programming for 30 years.
Christopher was a beloved husband and father. He leaves behind his wife Norma (Davis) Koda, sons Christopher Adam Koda, and Kevin Koda, grandson Kacper Koda. Beloved brother of Jonathan Koda, Colette Dishman, Patrice Coyle and Stephanie Koda. He was preceded in death by his sister Ann Marie Duus.
Mr. Koda will be laid to rest on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 in Riverside National Cemetery at 1 O'Clock in the afternoon, Riverside, California.
