CARSON SEDEJ NICKELL

Carson Sedej Nickell, 41, unexpectedly passed away in Moreno Valley, California on Sunday, November 3, 2024.

Carson was born on Thursday, August 11, 1983, at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Fontana, California. He is survived by his father, Wendell Nickell, mother, Dawn Dolence-Nickell, and eldest brother, A. Scott Nickell, and his two children a daughter Elyse Marie Nickell, age 12, and son Carson Sedej Nickell II (CJ), age 8. His uncle Wayne Nickell made the trip from Ohio to California to be with the family during this time. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Albert F. and Cleo L. Dolence, his brother, Brett Allen Nickell, and his sister-in-law, Geanne Delfin.

Carson was raised in Riverside, California. He attended local Orangecrest schools; Franklin Elementary School, Amelia Earhart Middle School, and graduated from Arlington High School in 2001. In school he played soccer, ran track, cross country, and made many lifelong friends. Carson then attended Arizona State University for the two years he lived in Phoenix, Arizona. Carson was a member of SAG/AFTRA and has commercials and movies to his legacy.

Carson loved being a dad. He loved being silly and playing with his two children. He also cared very much for both parents and brother, Scott. He visited his father’s hometown of Fairfield, Ohio every chance he could. He loved his sports teams: Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds, and the Ohio State University Buckeyes. He was obsessed with the movies Jurassic Park, Back To The Future, and his newest obsession Guardians Of The Galaxy. Halloween was his favorite holiday. He looked forward to dressing up with his children. Carson had a witty, funny, and very caring personality.

Carson will always be remembered for the man he was. A man that cared deeply for his family and friends. A man that loved his children.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at The Grove Community Church, Riverside, California.
