BARBARA MAY (HATHAWAY) PUCKETT

BARBARA MAY PUCKETT, 91, passed away on July 10, 2023 at her home in Riverside,
CA. She was born to George and Alice (Dionne) Hathaway in Acushnet, MA on May 17,
1932. She attended California Baptist College and worked in the bakery at Albertson’s
19years (known as the Cookie Lady). Barbara was a member of the Order of The Eastern
Star for many years. She attended Magnolia Baptist Church. She enjoyed doing
crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, square dancing, gardening and reading. She was
involved with Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts of America and received the Silver Beaver
Award for Volunteer Services.  Barbara was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She
leaves behind her husband of 66 years Richard Jr, her son Richard III, his wife Lisa, her
daughter Carolyn, and her 3 grandchildren Stephen, Richard IV, and George.
