BALBINA MONTES MACIAS

Balbina "Stella" Montes Macias  was born in Ahome, Mexico on March 31, 1929, to Luis Montes and Isabel Montes. She married Pedro M. Macias on December 26, 1926 in Mexico. Stella spent her childhood on a ranch in Mexico, where she resided until she married. In 1962, she and her husband moved to Corona, California with their three young children. After her husband's passing Stella raised her children in Corona and resided in the city for the rest of her life. She remained in her original home for over fifty years and, in the last years of her life, she was moved into the loving home of her grandson and his family.  Stella enjoyed following at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Corona, California.  Stella loved gardening, crocheting, and watching her favorite novelas.. . She is survived by two children, Maria Ramirez and Joel Montes Macias of Corona, CA; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Chapel Blessing will be Tuesday, April 23, 2024 in Grimes-Akes Family's "Grace Chapel" at 10:00 am with Celebration of Life to begin at 11:00 am.
