BABETTE FITZGERALD Obituary

Babette Fitzgerald, widow of pioneer Bob Fitzgerald, is now with her husband. She passed away on October 10, 2021 in Riverside, California.She was born on October 2, 1930 to Asa and Helen (Caneer) White, They raised their family at San Onofre beginning in the late 1940s. They were regulars for decades at the south volleyball courts, and in the surfer community. Babette was a wealth of information too, including her memory of the surfers regularly eating horse meat. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Brewer, her son Shawn Fitzgerald and 5 grandchildren Robert and Katie Brewer and Jason, Lucee and Jordan Fitzgerald.
The family is considering a paddleout next summer in her memory.
