Angelina F. Mata

Angelina (Helen) F. Mata of Corona, passed away on November
11, 2025. Her husband/our dad Fred G. Mata preceded her
passing on July of 1997. Angelina is survived by her children
Mary Louise Rohner, Fred F. Mata, Michael Mata, Francine Mata,
Cathy Hurtado (deceased), and Sharon Ludwig. Also survived by
numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great
grandchildren.
Angelina was born on August 26, 1930 in Buckeye, Arizona. After
moving to California, Angelina lived in Los Angeles, Buena Park,
Norco, Lake Mathews, and Corona.
Angelina enjoyed traveling to Arizona, Mexico and visiting with
family. She also enjoyed working in her yard where she helped
our dad build their house in Lake Mathews. Angelina was very
devoted to the Catholic Church.
A viewing will be held on December 10th from 4pm until 6pm at
Grimes Akes Family Funeral Home in Corona.
A Mass will be held on December 11th at 10am at Saint Edwards
Catholic Church in Corona followed by the burial at Sunnyslope
Cemetery also located in Corona.
