ASHLEY NICOLE LLOYD

Ashley Nicole Lloyd, age 20, passed away in the early evening of September 1st, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. Ashley was born December 17th, 2001 in Torrance, California. Throughout her 20 years of life, she fought 7 different types of cancers, and overcame a heart transplant at just the age of 4. During her life Ashley persisted through all obstacles while still maintaining a positive attitude and an adventurous outlook.

During her childhood, Ashley grew very fond of singing, which led to her devotion to theatre in high school, as well as singing in her church’s worship band. She was an incredibly hardworking student and was thrilled when she started college at Cal State Fullerton in fall 2021. Ashley had plans of getting her degree in psychology; she always wanted to help others.

When not in school, Ashley loved camping with her family, going on trips with her dearest friends, and catching the newest Marvel movie. She loved to laugh, and even more, she loved to make others laugh. Ashley recently became an aunt, and it lit her world up. Each week she visited her nephew, making an everlasting impression, just as she did with everyone that came into her life.

She was a loving daughter, thoughtful sister, adored niece, humorous cousin, incredible aunt, a loyal friend and a bright light to everyone she came into contact with.
She will truly be missed and never forgotten.

Ashley is survived by her father Joe, Brother Nick, sisters Lexi and Adison, sister-in-law Arlene, nephew Jett, step-mother Lisa, step-brother Michael and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
We know that while we can’t have her here with us anymore, we find peace in knowing that she is reunited with her Mom, Sister, Grandparents, and most importantly, our Heavenly Father.

We love you forever, Ashley.

Visitation will be on Sunday, September 18, 2022 from 3-4 pm at Friends Church, Yorba Linda with service to follow at 4 pm.
