After a life lived well, Andrew Pocock passed away early on the morning of Sunday, April 28,
2024. Andy was well known for his jovial nature, his love of his wife, children and grandchildren,
being tremendously handy and helpful and his English accent.
Andy had suffered a stroke in December while traveling in London, but had made great
improvements since then, largely due to his stubborn personality that could not and would not
give in to the limitations the stroke had imposed on him. On the morning he left us, he simply
went to sleep in his comfy chair and did not wake up. We should all be so lucky.
His loss is felt by his wife Karen; his four children, Meredith Drews, Sara Tisdell, Lesli Sioson
and Geoff Pocock; by their spouses Jason Drews, Todd Tisdell, AJ Sioson and Lauren Pocock;
by his grandchildren Emma Tisdell, Thomas Drews, Spencer Tisdell, Henry Drews, Grady
Drews, Oscar Sioson, Dahlia Sioson, Hailey Pocock and Olivia Pocock and honorary
grandchildren Kendall Pierson and Jillian Pierson. Likewise, he leaves behind his two sisters
Susan Smith and Lindsay White who loved him and miss him.
A service to celebrate the life of Andy Pocock will be held at 1pm on June 13th at The Grove
Community Church Chapel in Riverside with a reception to follow at the family home.
