ANDRES GONZALEZ GOMEZ

Andres Gonzalez Gomez, 70, of Corona, California, peacefully passed away in his sleep on Monday, February 2, 2026, following a short but hard-fought battle with cancer. His warmth, spirit, and love for his family will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him.

Born on November 30, 1955, in Arandas, Jalisco, Andres was the beloved son of Antonio Gonzalez Jaurigue and Domitila Gomez Alfaro. A devoted husband to Sonia Gonzalez and a proud father to Fredie, Adan, Noe, and Andrea, he found immense joy in his role as a grandfather to Noe, Adan Jr., Eliana, Isaiah, Matteo, G, and Alynna. Andres is also survived by four sisters and one brother, who will miss him dearly.

Throughout his life, Andres exemplified hard work and determination as a self-employed entrepreneur. He dedicated many years to building his business and providing for his family. Beyond his professional life, he enjoyed spending quality time with loved ones and playing poker, where he was known for sharing laughter and stories. Among his proudest accomplishments was raising four children who have all become devoted parents themselves.

Andres will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and family will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 10th, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Grimes-Akes Family Funeral Home.
